Emma Bowen is a New York City-based holistic health advocate and educator, E-RYT 200. A dedicated practitioner of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, Emma has studied with Guy Donahaye at Ashtanga Yoga Shala NYC, where she served as his assistant, and currently practices under the guidance of Eddie Stern. In addition to her daily yoga practice, she has taken classes and workshops with Guy Donahaye, R. Sharath Jois, Saraswathi Jois, Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldmann, and Tim Miller. In Spring 2015, Emma completed Yoga Vida’s 200-Hour Vinyasa Teacher Training Program in New York City. In Spring 2018, while pregnant with her son, Luca, she additionally completed Integral Yoga Institute’s 85-Hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Program with Beth Donnelly Cabán and Lara Kohn Thompson. Emma is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Holistic Health Counselor, with a specialty in Ayurveda, the Ancient Indian healing system. She additionally completed a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell in October 2020. Emma has had a lifelong passion for cooking and natural healing. Her greatest goal is to inspire others to lead beautiful, ease-filled lives by sharing with them the tools and discoveries that have made her life richer.
